The Lost Book-Secret of Barnabas
The novel is about a secret Gospel of St. Barnabas which was
found in a cave in Turkey . Mr Kemal Yilmaz, a proffesor of Aramaic
Language is murdered in his house. The Aramaic was the language of
Jesus in which he gave his first teachings to the people. While a
secret organisation tries to prevent the emerge of the Gospel, The
professor and his journalist friend Ayhan Sualp face a dark and the
cold sides of the secret services.
Short Biography of the Author:
He was born in 1974 in Istanbul . He graduated from the Naval High
School in 1993. At the same year, as a military student, he won the
Yetkin Yorukoglu Poem Award. In 1995 he gave up studing in Naval War
Academy and began working as a reporter for a weekly magasine
Aksiyon. In 2000, he began to write for the newspaper Zaman. He
still represents CHA in NY which is belonged to the same media
group.
He graduated from the department of English Literature in 2001. He
studied Social Anthropology in Yeditepe University as a master
student.
He wrote his first book Armageddon in 1996 which still is a best
seller in Turkey . He is the writer of many noted non-fiction books
in Tukish. His first fiction, Kaynak Kitap-Barnabas'in Sirri( The
Lost Book-Secret of Barnabas) was published in 2007 by the Dogan
Publishing.
