This course is for advanced students of
Turkish or native speakers. In the first part of the course Ottoman Alphabet and
some basics are thought. After proficiency at reading gained, newspapers, and
journals are examined.
Aimed at those who are fluent
in Turkish or are at a conversational level, the Ottoman classes will involve
the study of literature in Ottoman Turkish. Ottoman lessons will also include
practice in writing Ottoman Turkish as well.
