CONGRESSMAN ROBERT WEXLER VISITED US

   On January 29, 2007, United States Congressman Robert Wexler visited the Turkish Cultural Center. Congressman Wexler, head of the House Committee on Foreign Affaris, was warmly welcomed by Turkish Cultural Center. Recently, Congressman Wexler visited and spoke with Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan. They discussed amongst other things, the importance of Turkish American relations and how the two could work together to manage a delicate time in the Middle East.  At the Center, he gave a talk about similar issues, expressing his appreciation of the Center for providing resources that will help Americans understand Turkish-Americans and Turkey.
