"Out beyond ideas of
wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I'll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass, the world is too full to talk
about.
Ideas, language, and even the phrase 'each other' does not make any
sense." "Rumi"
Mevlevi Order has offered spiritual training based on the
principles of Sufism for seven centuries. It traces back to Mawlana
Jalaladdin Rumi, one of the greatest scholars, spiritual leaders and
poets the world has ever known. The Mevlevis, or Whirling Dervishes,
have performed one of the world's most beautiful spiritual
ceremonies. The Sema, as it is called, is a precise choreography, a
meditation in motion, in which the dervishes are accompanied by a
refined and mystical music consisting of flutes, strings, chorus,
and percussion.
Whirling Dervishes Ceremony is an act of love and a drama of faith,
a precise choreography, a meditation in motion accompanied by
beautiful, mystical music.
Do not miss this magical event…
- Ineffable spiritual performance
- Indescribable mystic costumes
- Heart-stimulating live music with flutes, string and percussion.
"Come, come, whoever you are.
Wonderer, worshipper, lover of leaving.
It doesn't matter.
Ours is not a caravan of despair.
Come, even if you have broken your vow a thousand times still, and
yet again, come." "Rumi"
